Get empowered at this month's meeting with speaker Daniel Homsey, director of San Francisco's own Neighborhood Empowerment Network! Daniel will discuss the infrastructure that communities need to enable the kind of social cohesion that underlies true resilience, as well as what the City and County of San Francisco is doing right now to reshape its role in helping its neighborhoods (ie, you!) achieve this resilience.
Don't forget to check out the NEN's website, which features blog and video coverage of all sorts of amazing sustainability projects that local residents are undertaking right here, right now in San Francisco: http://www.empowersf.org/
